I usually use regular nail polish and I apply some stamping with a different color. For that you need a set kinda like this:
The plates have various patterns and you stamp them on the nail.
For the sponge technique is even easier, all you need is a sponge (I use a dish washing sponge) you apply some polish on it and dab on the nail.
You can also use rhinestones that look quite cool.
But don’t forget to always apply a transparent top coat after you finish your style. It will make the polish last longer.
